AUTOCRYPT has been named Automotive Cybersecurity Company of the Year at the 2026 AutoTech Breakthrough Awards.

This marks the company's third win in the category, following previous awards in 2020 and 2021.

In 2022, AUTOCRYPT also won the Ride Hailing Innovation of the Year award for AUTOCRYPT EQ, its autonomous driving and mobility service solution for people with limited mobility.

The AutoTech Breakthrough Awards, organized by US research firm Tech Breakthrough, recognize companies and products demonstrating innovative technologies in the automotive and transportation industries. This year's event marks the seventh edition.

AUTOCRYPT said on Oct. 20 that the award recognizes its cybersecurity technologies and integrated engineering capabilities across the entire vehicle lifecycle.

Its key technologies include the CCC Applet Test Kit, which verifies interoperability during the early stages of digital key development, and AUTOCRYPT M-CSTP Compliance, which supports standards-based cybersecurity validation.

These solutions enable original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and component suppliers to incorporate security requirements from the initial development stage and verify security across vehicle systems.

"This award recognizes AUTOCRYPT's differentiated technological capabilities in embedding security from the earliest stages of development through a Security by Design approach," said AUTOCRYPT CEO Kim Deok-soo.

Bryan Vaughn, managing director of AutoTech Breakthrough, said AUTOCRYPT helps OEMs and component suppliers manage cybersecurity from an integrated engineering perspective.
