ReverieCache gives agents a themed place to pause between tasks and offers a practical Deep Rest preview for their state bundles: memories, plans, tool schemas and logs.
What it does
The preview uses deterministic rules (no model is called) to propose archiving duplicates, expired or explicitly superseded memories, and unused tool schemas. You get a diff with a reason for every keep, archive or drop decision. Your client decides whether to adopt the result. The service cannot edit your local files or unload tools in your runtime.
The one number, and what it is not
One synthetic test fixture (examples/bundle-golden.json) went from 847 to 501 estimated active-context tokens.
That is an estimate, not a measurement:
- It is canonical compact UTF-8 JSON bytes divided by four, rounded up.
- It excludes the archive, reload manifests, report and snapshots.
- It is not a model-tokenizer count, not measured inference savings, and not a claim about reasoning quality.
- It comes from one synthetic fixture, not production or customer data.

Free previews accept up to 32 KiB and expire within 24 hours. Payments are off, so hosted apply is unavailable to free guests. Try synthetic data first. Submitted bundles are encrypted at rest, but the service decrypts them to process the preview. Never upload secrets or personal information.
