Wonik Group 2027 年應屆畢業生招聘收到 12,348 份申請，創新高

Wonik Group, a South Korean semiconductor materials, components and equipment company, said November 3 that it received 12,348 applications for its 2027 graduate recruitment program, the highest number since it began group-wide hiring. Applications have increased about 70% from 7,290 in 2024, a rise over two years.

Seven affiliates are participating in the recruitment drive, including semiconductor companies Wonik IPS, Wonik QnC, Wonik Materials and Wonik Holdings, as well as Wonik Robotics, TLI and beauty care company CMS Lab. The group is hiring for 45 positions, covering semiconductor equipment and materials research and development (R&D) in areas such as process development, plasma, specialty gases and precursors, as well as robotics R&D, sales and marketing, manufacturing technology and corporate support.

Wonik has conducted annual graduate recruitment for 13 consecutive years since 2014. The company said the program serves as a foundation for strengthening organizational stability. A Wonik Group official said the company consistently develops entry-level talent through group-wide recruitment while addressing immediate specialist needs through individual hiring at its affiliates. The official added that semiconductor technologies requiring years of hands-on experience make it difficult to build an adequate talent pool through experienced-hire recruitment alone.

For the first time this year, Wonik introduced an AI literacy assessment during the interview process to evaluate applicants' artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities. The move reflects the growing importance of AI skills as the group pursues its AI transformation (AX) strategy. Applicants will use generative AI to complete practical assignments on the day of their interviews.

Final candidates will be announced in December. Successful applicants will join the group in January 2027, undergo introductory training and then be assigned to individual affiliates.

A recruitment official at Wonik Group's Human Resources Division said the more than 12,000 applications this year reflected market confidence in the company's consistent graduate recruitment program. The official added that Wonik would continue refining its hiring process to identify suitable talent fairly while adapting to the AI era.
