Kolon Benit is expanding its customized enterprise services business using its proprietary multi-Internet of Things (IoT) platform. The company plans to attract customers across the construction, manufacturing and electronics industries by integrating devices from different manufacturers and external services into a single platform.

Kolon Benit announced on Nov. 2 that it has developed “Achimdoshi ON,” a smart home platform for Shinwon Construction.

Achimdoshi ON is a smart home service designed for Shinwon Construction’s apartment brand, Achimdoshi. It provides a single mobile app for controlling in-home IoT devices, including lighting, heating and cooling systems, connecting smart appliances, checking apartment maintenance fees, accessing parking services and reserving community facilities.

Residents can also use residential convenience services, including cleaning, offered through partnerships with external providers. The platform is designed to integrate services ranging from after-sales service requests before move-in to residential support after occupancy. It will be introduced gradually at new apartment complexes beginning with those scheduled for occupancy after mid-November.

Kolon Benit’s multi-IoT platform connects devices from different manufacturers, companies’ internal systems and services provided by external partners. Its cloud-based architecture allows individual services to be expanded independently, enabling new features to be added even after the platform has been deployed.

Kolon Benit entered the smart home market in 2017 after completing a demonstration test of a home IoT platform based on Amazon Web Services (AWS). In 2023, it secured a contract to develop a smart home IoT platform for HL D&I Halla, undertaking the development of a mobile app for residents and an integrated monitoring and control system.

In March 2025, the company supplied integrated residential IoT services to apartment complexes built by Kolon Global and HL D&I Halla, among others. The services included smart appliance connectivity, voice recognition and parking information, as well as residential convenience services such as pet care and home cleaning.
