譯好 SaaS 定價頁中文文案,再求職
I translated a SaaS pricing page into Chinese before asking for the job
作者為幾間 SaaS 公司翻譯定價頁,並在自家伺服器並列展示原文與譯文,作為非官方工作樣本,未獲公司認可。文中比較機器式翻譯與較自然的中文寫法,並分享檢查定價文案時會留意用量單位是否清楚、句子離開價格後是否仍有意義,以及措辭是否自然。
Most EN→ZH work on a SaaS pricing page is invisible to the buyer: they can't read Chinese, so they can't judge the output — and "send me a sample" rarely happens.
So for a few SaaS companies I picked one page, translated it, and published the result side by side on my own server. Unofficial preview, not affiliated with or endorsed by them:

Three sentences quoted from their pricing page, original on top, Chinese underneath. No logo, no images, no full-page copy. noindex, 30-day expiry, removed on request.
One line, and why the machine version reads wrong
Original:
We offer two models for you to generate content, only pay for what you really need
Machine-ish Chinese:
我们提供两种模式为您生成内容,只为您真正需要的付费
Ours:
内容生成有两种模式,你只为真正用到的部分付费。
Three things changed:
- The verb carries the meaning. 提供 is what a form does. 内容生成有两种模式 states a fact about the product — Chinese pricing copy prefers the product as the subject.
- "really need" is not 真正需要. 真正需要的付费 leaves the reader asking "need what?"; 真正用到的部分 closes the loop.
- Two "you"s collapse into one. Keeping both 为您 and 您 makes the line read like a translated contract, not a product page.
What I check first on any Chinese pricing page
- Is the unit restated? "Credits" becomes 额度, but the reader still needs to know how much one 额度 buys.
- Does the sentence survive with the price removed? If the number is doing the work, the copy is dead weight.
- Would a Chinese founder say it out loud? Legal-sounding Chinese is the loudest machine signal there is.
I do this for a living, one page at a time, so treat the link as a work sample rather than an argument.
If you ship a SaaS: what would you want to see in Chinese first — pricing, docs, or the onboarding emails?
