MongoDB Registers Data Platform on South Korea's Public Procurement System
MongoDB 的智能數據平台已登記於南韓公共採購服務的電子採購平台 Nara Marketplace，南韓政府機構及公共機構可直接透過該平台採購和部署。MongoDB 表示，它是該平台目前唯一登記的文件數據庫，並可協助公共機構以即時營運數據更新舊有系統及開發 AI 應用。
MongoDB, a global provider of open-source-based enterprise database management systems (DBMS), said its intelligent data platform has been registered on Nara Marketplace, the South Korean Public Procurement Service's electronic procurement platform.
The registration allows South Korean government agencies and public institutions to procure and deploy MongoDB directly through Nara Marketplace. MongoDB said it is currently the only document database registered on the platform.
MongoDB's specialized public-sector distributor, Jieum Knowledge Service, will handle deployment and implementation. The company said the registration will enable public institutions to rapidly modernize legacy systems and build production-grade artificial intelligence (AI) applications using real-time operational data.
MongoDB said its intelligent data platform integrates native search and vector search capabilities into operational database workloads, allowing public institutions to establish an operational data layer capable of real-time processing while complying with South Korean security, regulatory compliance and data sovereignty requirements.
KEPCO KDN, for example, uses MongoDB in its large-scale Meter Data Management System (MDMS) to manage tens of millions of electricity data records in real time.
