Revolut新一輪融資後估值達$115bn,持續拓展全球業務
Revolut hits $115bn valuation amid global expansion drive
The fintech has massively expanded its base this year after launching banks in the UK, Mexico, Australia and New Zealand.
Revolut is valued at $115bn after a fresh fundraising round led by investors including Glade Brook Capital Partners, Coatue and Durable Capital Partners. T Rowe Price Associates, Inc and Baillie Gifford also co-led the round.
The UK fintech has massively expanded its base this year after launching banks in the UK, Mexico, Australia and New Zealand, and securing banking licences in France, Colombia and Argentina. The company also bagged a conditional approval to launch banking services in the US.
The neobank, with 80m retail customers globally, has already established banking operations across 30 markets in the European Union. It has 3.4m customers in Ireland.
Revolut, meanwhile, is exploring a physical store in Barcelona, in a new challenge traditional banks. Announcing the pilot in April, the company stressed that the store would not be a traditional bank branch, but rather a “new format built for how modern customers engage with brands today”.
The fintech also announced a stablecoin in August and said that it was venturing into providing agentic commerce services with a Google partnership.
The new round is a significant leap from a share sale in late 2025 which valued the company at $75bn. Its annual report for the year showed a revenue growth of 46pc to $6bn, while pre-tax profit climbed 57pc to $2.3bn. Total retail customer base grew by 30pc to 68.3m by the end of the year, while business customers reached 767,000.
“The milestones achieved this year have been several years in the making. They allow us to strengthen our digital banking proposition in our core markets and pave the way for it reaching millions more customers beyond Europe,” said Victor Stinga, the company’s chief financial officer.
Earlier this year, reports suggested that the fintech was on its way to a $200bn valuation in an eventual initial public offering expected around 2028.
In September, Revolut disclosed that a data breach at the company exposed the personal information of around 680 customers globally, including 12 in Ireland. The incident occurred after an unauthorised fraudulent party phished the company for information using an email with a government agency domain.
Hackers have reportedly demanded a $3m cryptocurrency ransom from the fintech, threatening to sell the confidential records to other criminal groups.
