SocialRoster 推出 YouTube 專用排程工具
Building a YouTube-only scheduler: per-channel queues, visibility per post, and retries
I did not set out to build another social media dashboard. I set out to remove one nightly job: uploading the same finished video, channel by channel, to faceless YouTube channels.
What the scheduling engine actually does
SocialRoster keeps a separate queue for each channel. A creator uploads a video once, plans it on one calendar, and chooses Public, Unlisted, or Private for that individual post — not for the whole account. The engine then publishes to each connected channel automatically, at the scheduled time, and retries when a publish step fails instead of silently dropping the post.
That separation matters. Two channels can share a calendar without sharing a schedule, a visibility setting, or a failure mode. If one channel's publish fails, the others are not blocked behind it.
Lessons from shipping YouTube-only
First, doing one platform properly beats doing five halfway. The big tools I tried all "support YouTube," but they are built to post everywhere at once and priced that way — often per channel or per social set. A creator running six YouTube channels and nothing else pays for machinery they never touch.
Second, the boring constraints are the product. Exact times or a repeatable rhythm, a clear view of what is next, and a local library of finished videos matter more than another analytics chart.
Third, the person answering feedback should be the person writing the code. SocialRoster is a new product from an independent maker — me — so trade-offs are visible and fixable, not buried in a roadmap.
The story behind it
Running faceless YouTube channels sounds passive. Anyone who actually does it knows the unglamorous truth: the videos are the fun part, and the uploading is a second job. Every video has to be uploaded, titled, described, thumbnailed, set to the right visibility, and scheduled, channel by channel. When you run three, four, or six channels, that routine eats your evenings. It ate mine. I work a full-time job, and my channels were supposed to grow on the side. Instead, the side thing had a nightly shift of its own.
So I built the tool I wanted. It is called SocialRoster, and it is YouTube-only by design. Upload once — including AI-made videos, which is how a lot of faceless channels produce content now — plan on one calendar, and let it publish automatically.
Two plans keep the multi-channel point simple: Starter is $19.99/month for up to 2 channels, and Pro is $29.99/month for up to 6. Both start with a 3-day free trial.
If you run faceless or multi-channel YouTube and your current workflow is a calendar reminder and a pile of uploads, I would genuinely like to hear what your process looks like, whether you try SocialRoster or not.
