EverBlog FridgeCal

$249 (original price: $409)

With the FridgeCal, you don’t need to check multiple apps and calendars to keep track of your entire family’s schedule. It automatically syncs with Google, Outlook, Yahoo, Apple Calendar and more, so you see everyone’s appointments, meetings and other events at a glance. Plus, you can easily add chores and other to-do items to help keep things running smoothly.

The FridgeCal is more than just a digital calendar, too. It can also be a big help when it comes to grocery shopping and meal planning. With just a quick picture, it will take an inventory of what’s in your fridge and even generate tons of different recipe ideas that use what you already have. Plus, it will even give you expiration reminders so you don’t end up wasting ingredients.

More from CNET

CNET’s smart home expert Tyler Lacoma had a chance to test out the FridgeCal for himself, and found it quite capable “if you want a “device dedicated to food and meal management with handy spaces for to-do lists and events.” He also stated that “this tablet really could change how you use your fridge and daily planner” but noted that it’s best for busy families rather than individuals.
