Hanwha Semitech 以更快、更精準的貼片機瞄準中國市場

Hanwha Semitech is targeting Greater China, the world’s largest surface-mount technology (SMT) market, with chip mounters offering improved speed and precision.

Hanwha Semitech said on Oct. 27 that it would participate in NEPCON Asia 2026, held in Shenzhen, China, from Oct. 27 to 29. NEPCON Asia is an SMT technology exhibition that attracts approximately 600 global manufacturers and 70,000 visitors annually.

Hanwha Semitech will showcase high-speed chip mounters and new products, including an inline production solution combining the HM520 and HM520W. The solution is optimized for high-performance electronic products. The W designation indicates equipment designed to handle larger and heavier substrates than conventional models.

The company will also unveil its new DECAN Plus chip mounter in China for the first time. The equipment offers improved speed and precision compared with its predecessor. Hanwha Semitech will also demonstrate its T-Solution software, highlighting features designed to improve operational efficiency across manufacturing processes.

The company plans to focus on AI servers, networking equipment and automotive electronics, where demand for high-performance substrates is concentrated. It will promote its products to Chinese manufacturers.

Chip mounters are machines that place electronic components onto printed circuit boards (PCBs). Components mounted on substrates have become smaller while their numbers have increased. Hanwha Semitech said accurate and fast SMT processing has emerged as a key competitive factor for chip mounters.
