我推薦這款迷你按摩槍,讓背痛患者旅行時使用
The One Mini Gadget I Recommend for Traveling With Back Pain
CNET’s key takeaways
- The Theragun Mini costs $220 but delivers power comparable to larger, more expensive massage guns.
- The Mini is lightweight, compact and easy to use. It also helps relieve muscle soreness and pain.
- For a mini massage gun, it is still expensive at $220.
When preparing for a trip, it’s natural to think about relaxation, fun activities, outdoor adventures, new restaurants and back pain. Well, that last one might just be me. No matter where I travel, how I travel or how long I travel, I have a history of needing to book a chiropractor appointment right when I return home from vacation.
At home, I religiously use my foam roller every night to reduce muscle soreness, tension and knots in my back, but that sadly doesn’t fit in my suitcase. Luckily, I’ve found a replacement that fits perfectly in any bag: a mini massage gun. I can’t travel without it.
I have the third-generation Theragun Mini and have found it as powerful as some larger massage guns I’ve tested.

My experience with the Theragun Mini
Massage guns use percussive therapy to reduce muscle tension, increase circulation, provide pain relief and foster relaxation. But they can be on the larger side, which is why I love the Mini’s size of 1.93 by 4.57 by 4.57 inches and 0.91 pounds, making it lightweight and convenient to use. It’s also the company’s smallest, lightest Theragun.
It comes with three attachments: a dampener that’s gentle enough for sensitive areas, a standard ball for all-over therapy and a thumb attachment for more precise treatment, such as getting rid of knots. Most of the time, I use the standard ball attachment.

The Mini has a 10-millimeter amplitude and three speeds of 1,750, 2,100 and 2,400 percussions per minute, the same max speed as the larger Theragun Elite, Prime and Pro.
Its LED indicator can show speed, battery life (up to 150 minutes) and Bluetooth connectivity if you connect the device to the Therabody app. However, I have too many apps, so I prefer to use the Mini on its own; although the app does offer additional controls, an AI-powered coach and guided routines that could be helpful for beginners.

The Mini comes with a USB-C charging cable and a soft travel case, plus a one-year limited warranty. It’s available in eight colors, including the new Y2K collection inspired by ‘90s translucent tech.
Note that this massage gun contains a lithium-ion battery, so it should be carried in carry-on luggage. The Mini also has a travel lock to prevent the device from accidentally powering on.

Overall, I’ve had this massage gun for about eight months and haven’t experienced any issues, even while traveling with it. The only downside is that it’s pricey, costing $220.
