Why install size is an ops feature
SSH is infrastructure muscle memory. If the client itself is heavy, every rebuild and every remote assist costs minutes you never budget for.

The product name is AI-SSH-Pro. Installers and shortcuts are presented as a normal desktop app — not as a billboard for the underlying UI stack.
Still a full day-to-day SSH desk
Small does not mean “terminal only”:
- Multi-session SSH — several hosts without a window per box
- SFTP — browse and transfer on the active session
- ProxyJump — bastion / jump-host paths without a second tool
- Ops toolbox — common helpers beside the terminal
- Confirm-before-execute AI — suggestions first; nothing runs until you approve
The AI path is intentionally gated: observe → plan → run only after you confirm. Useful for drafting checks and safe command lists; not an unsupervised autopilot on production.
Where “fast” shows up
- Thin VPN / jump laptop upgrades — a few megabytes is a different wait than a few hundred
- USB field kits — keep the installer next to your other emergency tools
- Handing a teammate a link — they install and connect instead of babysitting a download bar
