NEXUS 收購 One Store 後第三季度收入增長 257%
NEXUS Reports 257% Revenue Growth in Third Quarter on One Store Acquisition

NEXUS posted a 257% increase in third-quarter revenue from a year earlier, driven by the consolidation of One Store following its acquisition. Operating losses continued, however, leaving profitability as a key challenge.
The company reported revenue of 32.863 billion won for the third quarter on November 3, up 257% from a year earlier and 467% from the previous quarter.
Operating loss narrowed by 395 million won from the previous quarter to 4.757 billion won. NEXUS had posted an operating profit of 300 million won in the third quarter of last year, but returned to a loss this year.
Revenue for the first nine months of the year totaled 50.271 billion won, doubling from the same period a year earlier. The increase was largely attributable to the consolidation of One Store's financial results following its acquisition in June.
"Growth is the most important factor in innovation," NEXUS Chief Executive Officer Jang Hyun-kook said. "We will continue to pursue growth through mergers and acquisitions while strengthening organizational capabilities through AI transformation (AX)."
NEXUS, formerly game developer Action Square, changed its corporate name in February last year under Jang's leadership and began focusing on blockchain-based gaming platforms. It subsequently built its proprietary blockchain platform, CROSS, and reshaped its business model by publishing games including Rohan 2 Global.
In June this year, NEXUS acquired an 89.03% stake in One Store for 62.6 billion won from shareholders including SK Square, Naver and Krafton. It subsequently purchased additional shares held by KT and LG Uplus in September, raising its ownership to 95.88%.
On September 29, NEXUS approved a comprehensive share exchange to make One Store a wholly owned subsidiary. The company plans to acquire the remaining 3.63% stake held by other shareholders through the exchange. The transaction is scheduled to take effect on December 8.
Following the acquisition, NEXUS is pursuing a strategy to combine its existing blockchain infrastructure with One Store's game distribution and payment businesses. In August, it launched One Store Global in 122 countries, securing more than 1,000 content titles.
The company is also expanding into artificial intelligence (AI)-based game distribution. In late September, One Store opened its dedicated AI games section to all developers, offering monetization services that link game registration with in-app payments and advertising.
ONEchain, the company's blockchain network, has attracted One Store, H Lab, CertiK, HashKey Cloud and DSRV as validators.
NEXUS is also preparing new services. One Store plans to expand its short-form drama and game-item trading service, ONEitem, while pursuing an integrated entertainment platform spanning games, webtoons, web novels and short-form dramas.
Meanwhile, NEXUS plans to hold an extraordinary shareholders meeting on November 16 to vote on an amendment to its articles of incorporation that would change its corporate name to ONE Corp. The move is intended to bring its major services, including One Store, under the unified ONE brand.
