StradVision Supplies Camera Perception Software to Aptiv

StradVision has signed a 3.2 billion won contract to supply camera perception software for advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) to global automotive supplier Aptiv.
StradVision said in a regulatory filing that it had signed a supply agreement worth 3.2 billion won with Aptiv Global Operations Limited, an affiliate of Aptiv. The contract represents 17.7% of StradVision’s 18.1 billion won revenue last year.
Under the agreement, StradVision will develop front-camera vision perception software for integration into Aptiv’s next-generation smart camera platform.
The contract runs through 2028. Payments will be made as development milestones are achieved.
In September, StradVision announced that its software had entered mass production in vehicles made by a Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer for export to Europe, using Aptiv’s smart camera system. The new contract will allow StradVision to supply software for an existing platform while developing software for the next-generation platform.
StradVision is targeting the global automotive market with its proprietary vision perception software, SVNet. The technology identifies surrounding objects, including vehicles and pedestrians, in images captured by vehicle cameras.
