German AI start-up Marble Cognition has raised $3.75m in pre-seed funding for its agentic AI software platform.
The Munich-based company, founded in 2025, aims to capture operational processes within companies and convert them “into systems AI can read” before deploying agentic AI ‘coworkers’ for assistance with “manual white-collar work”.
The new funding will be used to scale inference, grow Marble’s engineering team in Munich and launch in the US, according to the company.
The funding round was co-led by Heartcore Capital and Seedcamp, with participation from angels including a board member of Datadog, a founder of Personio, and executives from McKinsey, Mistral AI and Lovable, Marble said.
“Every company we talk to wants AI to take over real work. But nobody can tell the AI how that work is actually done,” said Felix Rösner, co-founder of Marble. “Our ‘coworkers’ watch how the work happens before they take it over. They do it the way your best people do.”
Rösner is also the company’s CEO; its CTO Christophe Schmit is the other co-founder. Marble works with tech unicorns, private equity-backed companies and AI roll-ups, including EGYM, Mutares and Enam, it said.
“Most companies want to automate more, but the hard part has always been mapping out how the work gets done. Marble fills that gap, giving companies vital context for AI transformations that could define their future,” said Reshma Sohoni, general partner at Seedcamp, a European seed fund operating since 2007.
According to Marble, its platform “observes how teams work, turning every process into a structured map that AI can read like code”, before creating agentic coworkers that run each process end-to-end in the tools teams already use, with humans kept “in the loop where judgement matters”.
Max Niederhofer, partner at Heartcore, said: “Marble learns a whole company’s processes, anonymises the data, derives SOPs and deploys agentic AI against them.
“What Felix and Christophe are building is a key technology for the AI-enabled workplace.”
Everything the platform captures is anonymised before any person or AI model sees it, according to Marble. Its desktop app “records the screen, clicks and keystrokes in the business apps people use at work”, but “never [in] private apps, private tabs or anything outside working hours”.
Employees can pause the process at any time and data is only analysed in aggregate, not based on individuals, the company said.
