There are a range of job vacancies open to both graduates and professionals looking to carve out their place in the quantum and deep-tech sectors.

Accenture

Professional services company Accenture is looking to recruit a number of professionals with skills in the area of deep-tech. Mid and senior level vacant positions at the Dublin facility include AI infrastructure architect, senior AI large language model architect and an AI large language model tech lead and principal architect. There is also a senior-level knowledge engineering management role that would require a professional with deep-tech skills. 

Amgen

Biotechnology company Amgen wants to add an equipment process engineer to the Dun Laoghaire team. There is a senior engineer for process and equipment role, also at the Dun Laoghaire facility. Amgen sits at the intersection of biotechnology and life sciences, so it is an ideal organisation to join for those who want an eclectic STEM career that covers many bases. 

BearingPoint

Multinational business and tech consulting company BearingPoint has a few openings for professionals with skills suited to deep-tech. There is an open data architect role and the selected candidate will join the data analytics and AI team. Responsibilities will include working closely with business stakeholders, delivery teams and platform specialists to shape robust, scalable and analytics‑ready data architecture. On the enterprise Microsoft transformation team there is also room for an AI workplace Co-pilot studio developer. 

Deloitte

For jobseekers with AI-related deep-tech skills professional services firm Deloitte has opportunities in Dublin and Cork through an AI architect role. As part of the artificial intelligence and data team the selected candidate will use artificial intelligence, machine learning and GenAI to solve business challenges. 

Equal1

Global quantum computing company Equal1 is in the process of recruiting a quantum error correction lead or senior quantum error correction scientist to the Dublin-based team. There is also a spin qubit calibration engineering position and Equal1 regularly accepts applications for quantum roles, even when there is no advertised position. 

Fidelity Investments

International finance firm Fidelity Investments runs the FCAT centre, which is the Fidelity Centre for Applied Technology Europe. The centre was created to innovate with the future in mind, analyse societal shifts and test emerging technologies. FCAT vice-president and the head of the centre, Richard Murphy, previously said that the group hires broadly, including deep-tech engineers, PhDs in areas such as quantum computing and blockchain, artists, design thinkers and human experience designers. 

For graduates or young professionals, FCAT is running the Fidelity Investments , Fidelity Center for Applied Technology Innovation Ecosystem, Europe Internship. Placements will take place from January to August, in Galway or Dublin and Fidelity said it is designed for students who are passionate about technology, entrepreneurship, and the power of innovation to shape the future.

Also available at Fidelity, in the deep-tech vein, is a Dublin-based principal software AI engineering role. 

Horizon Quantum

Horizon Quantum has offices in both Singapore and Ireland. Jobseekers with quantum skills should consider the open quantum computing partnerships managerial role. For less experienced jobseekers, looking to move into the quantum landscape, there is a software engineering internship for the 2027 year. 

Liberty IT  

Liberty IT, which is the technology arm of the insurance firm Liberty Mutual Insurance, has offices in Belfast, Dublin and Galway. Jobseekers with a background in deep-tech should consider currently vacant positions such as the senior software engineer in machine learning role which is available at the Belfast location and a senior software engineering data role, also in Belfast. In Galway and Belfast there are opportunities for data scientists.

MSD

Professionals with deep-tech skills have plenty of opportunities to choose from at multinational pharmaceutical MSD. Suitable roles include senior specialist in manufacturing automation, upstream process science lab technical lead, downstream process science lab technical lead, senior specialist in data engineering and analytics and engineering specialist, among others. 

Optum 

Optum currently has open roles for a senior AI and ML engineer, a data scientist, a principal data engineer and multiple senior data engineers. Professionals with deep-tech skills should consider applying to the multinational health and technology organisation. The company has locations in both Dublin and Letterkenny. 

PwC

Professional services company PwC is looking to recruit several people with deep-tech skills. Candidates can consider jobs such as AI Azure architect for data and AI, AI engineering lead in data and AI, AI solution analyst and healthcare data modernisation in data and AI, among others. The named roles are in Dublin and are aimed at senior-level professionals. 

TCS

Global IT services, consulting and business solutions platform TCS has vacancies for a data scientist and a senior AI engineer. The chosen candidates will join the team in Letterkenny. 

As a senior AI engineer, the right candidate will lead the engineering of agentic AI systems and partner with data scientists, data engineers, data analysts, DevSecOps and other professionals to implement machine learning models and agentic AI systems.

Workhuman

Human capital and software company Workhuman is advertising multiple Dublin-based job vacancies. The team is looking to recruit an AI portfolio and governance lead, as well as an AI capability lead. A professional with AI-related deep-tech skills should also consider the open senior data analyst position. 

Yahoo

At technology company Yahoo, the Ireland team has an opening for a professional with AI and machine learning skills, via a principal software engineer, backend or data role. The role is described as being ‘AI first’ and focused on code quality, architectural rigor and an entrepreneurial mindset.
