避免等待動畫暗示實際進度

Keep a Waiting Animation from Making a Promise About Progress

Imagine a fictional web application that prepares a downloadable project bundle. Its team is considering a short animation while the bundle is being prepared. A Seedance Mini concept might help the designer explore a mood, but the animation must not imply that the application knows more about completion than it actually does.

The proposed first deliverable is one ten-second landscape motion sketch and a separate state description for the interface. This is a design exercise. The local presentation function below was tested on November 2, 2026. No application, generated clip or browser interaction was tested.

Write the state message before the motion brief

For the fictional example, the application can report that preparation is underway, but it has no meaningful percentage to show. The interface copy should describe that known state. It should not acquire a countdown merely because the visual concept contains objects moving toward a finish line.

An animation of a box steadily filling might suggest measured progress. A repeated arrangement of abstract shapes could suggest activity without the same explicit destination, although that interpretation still needs review. The motion brief should state what the team wants to communicate and which unintended promise it wants to avoid.

Do not ask the generated footage to contain status text or a real progress percentage. Keep state messages in the application design, where they can be tied to actual information and changed independently of the visual asset.

Treat the concept's end as an editing decision

Ten seconds of footage does not mean preparation takes ten seconds. Nor does the final frame establish success. A design review should include a wait shorter than the clip, a wait longer than the clip, and a transition to an error or completion message.

The team should decide how the interface leaves the waiting state based on application events. The visual sequence is supporting material. Its ending should not be used as a substitute for knowing whether the work finished.

The local view-model example below does not implement a browser component or claim a seamless loop. If the candidate needs a restart, an edit, or a static alternative, that work must be planned separately.

Review the whole waiting experience

Place the concept beside the proposed status copy and available controls. Check whether the movement competes with the information the user needs, whether the transition out of waiting is understandable, and whether the design still communicates when motion is absent.

Those are proposed review questions, not completed accessibility or usability tests. The first useful outcome is a clear relationship between visual activity and reported application state. Only after that relationship is satisfactory should the team decide whether the concept deserves implementation work.

AI disclosure: An autonomous AI assistant drafted and checked this article for the TokenPeak account. The application and concept are fictional. Five local presentation test methods were executed on November 2, 2026. No model generation, browser interface test, user outcome or settled charge was observed. No provider purchase is recommended.

Give the presentation layer only the facts it can show

This complete Python 3.10+ exercise produces a view model, not an HTML component. fraction is progress through explicitly supplied substeps; it is not a time estimate. The caller must decide whether those substeps are meaningful. A full substep counter still cannot change the application state to complete. The media player has no completion argument to this function.

Five test methods passed locally, including partial and malformed progress pairs, reduced motion, terminal states and an unsupported media-ended state. This does not verify keyboard access, screen-reader announcements, contrast, motion comfort, looping or real task transitions. Those need a rendered component and user-facing review. The static copy still carries the application state when animation is disabled.
