AI 問卷工具比較:WeJot 與傳統表單工具

AI Survey Tool Comparison: WeJot vs Traditional Form Builders

Most teams still run research the way they did a decade ago. Someone opens a form builder, writes questions by hand, sends a link, and then spends days cleaning a spreadsheet. Interviews add another loop: finding people, booking calls, taking notes, and stitching quotes into a report. The tools are familiar. The work around them is still mostly manual.

Traditional form builders are very good at one job: collecting structured answers. You design a survey, share a URL, and export responses. That workflow is reliable for a simple poll or an internal request form. It strains when the goal is an interview rather than a checkbox. Follow-up questions do not adapt to what the person just said. Open-ended answers pile up with no built-in way to compare them. Sampling is often whoever clicks the link. Analysis becomes a separate spreadsheet project, and the report is another document someone writes from scratch.

This article compares that pattern with WeJot, an AI survey and interview product. It is a look at the workflow, not a scorecard. There are no performance numbers here, because a fair comparison depends on the audience, the question design, and how a team defines quality.

Where the manual work hides

A typical research loop has five steps:

  1. Write the questionnaire.
  2. Recruit or sample respondents.
  3. Collect answers, sometimes in a live interview.
  4. Analyze what people said.
  5. Turn findings into something a stakeholder can read.

Form builders cover step 3 well, and they help with step 1 if you already know the questions. The other steps usually sit outside the product. A researcher still drafts the instrument, chases participants, codes themes, and builds slides. For a short internal poll, that is a reasonable trade. For customer discovery or a study with many open-ended questions, the overhead is the project.

What WeJot is built to cover

WeJot is aimed at that fuller loop. It focuses on a few capabilities rather than on replacing every form you already use:

  • AI questionnaire generation. You describe the study, and WeJot drafts a questionnaire you can edit. The point is to start from a research goal instead of a blank page, then keep a person in control of the final questions.
  • AI video interviews. Beyond a static form, WeJot can run video interviews so respondents answer in their own words. That is a different artifact from a multiple-choice export: spoken responses you can review, not only rows in a file.
  • Sampling. Answers from whoever happens to see a link skew a study. Sampling support is there so a project can be aimed at a defined group instead of an open inbox.
  • Analytics. Responses need to be summarized, compared, and traced back to what people actually said. In-product analytics is meant to shorten the gap between "we have data" and "we know what it means."
  • Visual reports. Stakeholders rarely want a raw export. Visual reports package findings so a team can read them without rebuilding a deck by hand.

A side-by-side of the workflow

Step Traditional form builder WeJot
Question design Written by hand, or started from a template AI draft, then a human edit
Collection Link, embed, or email Forms plus AI video interviews
Who answers Often whoever has the link Sampling toward a defined audience
Analysis Export, then a spreadsheet In-product analytics
Sharing findings A separate document or slide deck Visual reports

This is a workflow comparison, not a claim that one product is faster by any measured amount. A five-question internal poll may still be quicker in a form builder the team already knows. A discovery project with open-ended interviews is where the extra steps in a traditional stack tend to cost the most time.

When a form builder is still the right tool

Stay with a traditional form builder when the questions are already settled and mostly closed-ended, when you need a simple embed or an operational request, or when the team only needs raw responses for a reporting pipeline it already has. Nothing here says every existing form should move.

When the WeJot shape fits better

WeJot is a better fit when the work looks like research: you are still figuring out the questions, you want people to talk rather than only click, you care who is in the sample, and you want analytics plus a visual report without a separate analysis project.

The tradeoff is the usual one with AI-assisted tools. Generated questions and summaries are a draft. Someone who understands the audience should review the instrument and the findings before they drive a decision. WeJot is built around that review, not around skipping it.

If your next study is still a blank form and a spreadsheet, it is worth asking which of the five steps you actually want to keep doing by hand. When the answer is fewer of them, start at wejot.ai or read more at wj.pro.
