Bluesky’s Attie, the AI building tool the company introduced earlier in 2026, announced a site builder on October 15, 2026, giving users a way to create small social pages such as games, quizzes, AMAs, guestbooks, and surveys, each published at its own shareable address.

Starter Sites Include a Game, a Quiz, and an AMA

The official Attie account announced the feature in a thread on Bluesky, saying that “starting today, Attie users can build small social pages like an AMA, a guestbook, or a survey your friends will argue about for a week.” The account said the team had made a few starter sites to get people going and invited users to make a better one and share it, pointing them to attie.ai.

The first starter site in the thread is Flappy Butterfly, a game in which players dodge bad takes, collect likes, and try to avoid getting ratioed, with a leaderboard for top scores. It lives at savoring-proud-chime.attie.site. The second is Poster Alignment Chart, a 3×3 poster-persona quiz that runs a user through ten posting scenarios; after the user signs in with an Atmosphere account, the site reads their last 100 posts and plots both who they think they are and who their posts say they are on one chart. It lives at gleaming-giddy-bonnet.attie.site. The third, Ask the Attie Team, is an AMA site that takes questions anonymously and posts selected answers back to Bluesky, at drumming-limber-atlas.attie.site.

The Attie account carries a Bluesky-issued verification and a self-applied bot label, and its bio describes the product as a way to make your own corner of the open social web, building sites, feeds, and reports from a description of what the user wants.

How the Builder Works

On the Attie homepage, the product offers a direct flow: a user describes a small social app, and Attie builds it with them. The page lists three properties of the sites it produces. No code is needed, since the user describes the idea in plain words. The sites are social from day one, with friends able to sign in with Bluesky to vote, RSVP, or sign. And every site gets its own link that can be shared anywhere.

The homepage lists starter ideas spanning polls, events, guestbooks, games, ask-me-anything pages, leaderboards, journals, landing pages, surveys, dashboards, and an explain-the-joke format that tells the story behind a reference. A showcase section highlights real sites people made with the tool: Flappy Butterfly and Poster Alignment Chart from the Attie account itself, Drum Protocol by Brittany Ellich, and Pet the Celery Man by the user hailey.at.

The live Flappy Butterfly page shows how a finished site behaves once published. Players score one point for each like collected and three points for each good post, while a block clears a hazard, a mute triggers ghost mode, and a shield absorbs one hit. The page tracks what it calls peak engagement on a top-10 leaderboard and warns players not to touch the compose bar.

From Feed Builder to Site Builder

Jay Graber introduced Attie on March 28, 2026, as an invite-only closed beta, calling it the “first agentic social app on atproto” and describing it as an experiment in making building on the protocol more accessible. The Attie account itself had been created on March 21, 2026.

Attie’s original function was building custom Bluesky feeds from natural-language descriptions, and the account’s posting history documents a series of additions from there. On August 7, 2026, the account published Things Going Right, a feed of science wins, community successes, and quiet progress that never trends. On August 14, 2026, it said users could turn quest results into lists and starter packs to share on Bluesky, and on August 18, 2026, it said it had expanded the list of countries with access to Attie. On August 26, 2026, it highlighted a Bird of the Day feed built for Bluesky’s daily birding game, with the day’s theme at the top, the best entries underneath, and bots and tag-scraper accounts filtered out. In early September 2026 the account posted prompting guidance, advising users to name what they want, give an example, say what to leave out, and edit any line of the output they dislike, and on October 6, 2026, it said users could catch up on their Bluesky lore with Attie and share the result as a card.

The site builder also arrives during a documented leadership transition at Bluesky. Graber stepped back as CEO on March 9, 2026, to become the company’s Chief Innovation Officer, and Bluesky named Toni Schneider permanent CEO on July 10, 2026, after he had held the role on an interim basis since March.
