Datadog, an AI-powered observability and security platform provider, has appointed Henry Chung as Head of Channel & Alliances for Korea.
Chung, who has held leadership roles at global technology companies including IBM, TCS and MongoDB, will oversee Datadog's partner strategy in South Korea and work with partners to identify new business opportunities across cloud, security and AI.
His responsibilities include developing joint go-to-market (GTM) strategies with major South Korean systems integrators (SIs), large enterprises, consulting firms and managed service providers (MSPs), as well as collaborating with global cloud hyperscalers and leading AI technology companies.
He will also help existing partners expand their security business opportunities and build a broader partner ecosystem centered on advanced security solutions.
"Collaboration with Korean partners is creating new opportunities not only in Korea but also in overseas markets," Datadog said, citing MegazoneCloud as an example.
Datadog will host Datadog Summit Seoul on Oct. 27, featuring sessions and workshops on AI, observability and security. The event will include a keynote titled "Observability for AI: Standardization Revisited" and cover topics such as MCP-based autonomous site reliability engineering (SRE) AI systems, AI agent performance evaluation and optimization, cloud security, and observability in regulated financial environments.
