You passed the CV round. The interview is in a few days. Now what?

Most practice options are either generic question lists or tools that make you sign up before you can try anything. I wanted something simpler: upload my resume, paste the job description, and rehearse the interview I'm actually about to have.

So I built AI Interviewer.

Why I built it

I once took an AI interview on an employer screening platform as a candidate. The experience stuck with me, but I wanted the opposite direction: a tool for candidates to practice, not for companies to filter people out.

I've also sat through many interviews myself, and a lot of the advice I found online didn't match what interviewers actually asked. That gap is what this project tries to close.

How it works

1. Upload your resume (PDF or DOCX, up to 10MB, in English).
2. Add the job title and job description (optional, but this is where it gets useful). The AI uses both to build questions around the role you applied for and the experience on your CV.
3. Answer out loud. Questions are read aloud and you answer by speaking, like a real interview, from your introduction through role knowledge and practical questions.
4. Get your report. Every answer is scored against its own criteria, with feedback and a final pass/fail verdict.

No account. No setup. No ads.

The part I care about most: honest feedback

A score alone doesn't help you improve. So the report explains why an answer scored the way it did. For example:

Q: Tell me about a time you had to deliver under a tight deadline.
Your answer: "We had a big release, so the team worked late and we finished on time."
Score: 4/10 — Too general: no clear situation, no actions of your own, and no result.

You can then compare your answers with:

• Model answers: the key points a strong response covers.
• Sample answers: a full example shaped around your resume, so you can build your own version in your own words.

You can preview some model answers for free after each interview.

What's free and what isn't

The mock interview, scores, and feedback are free. That's the core and it will stay that way.

There's an optional paid Job Interview Prep Pack for people who want more before a real interview: a detailed analysis report, a personal study plan, likely questions and answers for the role, and lessons from real interview experience. You don't need it to use the tool.

Current limits (being honest)

• English only, both the resume and the interview.
• No coding tests or live technical rounds for IT roles yet.
• 5 interviews per day per device.
• Interview data is automatically deleted after 60 days.
