Tracxn 報告指歐洲後期融資平均交易額逾倍增長
Late-stage funding has more than doubled in Europe in 2026
The Europe Tech 9M 2026 report also indicated that, in a positive turn of events, the number of European Unicorns is rising.
Data intelligence platform Tracxn Technologies has published the Europe Tech 9m report, which explores funding, investors, exits, unicorns and city-level activity across Europe’s technology ecosystem for the first nine months of the year.
A standout detail of the report is the figures showing that for the first nine months of 2026, between January and September, late-stage deals accounted for 53pc of all funding. The average late-stage deal more than doubled from around $68m in 2025 to roughly $153m in 2026.
Mistral, a Paris-based AI company, was among the organisations that made one of the largest deals, with a $3.5bn Series D round in September and represented around 11pc of all late-stage funding.
Similarly large rounds included Helsing, a German defence technology company that raised $1.8bn in a Series E round in July and German robotics maker Neura which raised $1.4bn in a Series C during March.
Another key figure from the report shows that Europe’s number of Unicorns, that is companies valued at $1bn or more, has risen. European technology companies produced 41 new Unicorns during the documented period this year, which is up from 16 in the first nine months of 2025.
According to Tracxn, this is representative of around 21pc of the 200 new unicorns worldwide. The city of London accounted for 15 of the 41.
A snapshot of Europe
Broken down geographically, London was responsible for raising $21.6bn in 2026, between January and September, which was up from $10.2bn in 2025. Paris ranked second, raising $7.4bn in 2026, against $4.1bn the previous year.
Stockholm raised $4.1bn against $1.1bn and Munich followed with $3.4bn and Berlin with $2.0bn, against $1.8bn and $1.7bn in 2025.
Across the report, the type of organisations raising large sums of money included AI companies, which raised the most of any group ($15.7bn), high performance computing groups ($7.7bn), military technology companies ($5.8bn), data centre infrastructure groups ($5.7bn) and companies operating in drones ($2.7bn).
