Cammsys 第三季度轉虧為盈，錄得 7.4 billion won 營業溢利

Cammsys remained profitable in the third quarter, driven by increased camera module supplies for flagship and foldable smartphones and improved production efficiency. The company also expects revenue from its non-mobile camera business to begin contributing to results in the fourth quarter.

Cammsys said on Oct. 19 that third-quarter revenue reached 153.6 billion won, with operating profit of 7.4 billion won. Revenue rose approximately 38% from a year earlier, while the company swung to an operating profit from a loss of 3.3 billion won.

Cumulative revenue for the first nine months of 2026 rose approximately 13% to 449 billion won from 396.3 billion won a year earlier. Operating profit for the period reached 16 billion won, reversing an operating loss of 10.1 billion won in the same period of 2025.

A higher proportion of high-value-added camera modules contributed to the earnings improvement. Cammsys expanded its camera module supplies from all models in the Galaxy S26 series to the Foldable 8 series. The company also said it improved operational efficiency at its manufacturing subsidiary in Vietnam.

Cammsys is expanding its mobile camera module technology into non-mobile applications, including security systems and smart home appliances. It expects sales of cameras equipped with artificial intelligence (AI) vision technology for security and smart appliances to begin contributing to its financial results in the fourth quarter.

“We are sustaining the profitability improvements that began in the first half through a better product mix and greater production efficiency,” a Cammsys official said.
