7 款適合比寫程式更常發 Slack 訊息的開發者使用的 Mac 應用程式(2026)
7 Mac Apps for Developers Who Write More Slack Messages Than Code (2026)
Count the words you type in a day. For a lot of developers, more of them go into Slack threads, PR descriptions, code review comments, standup notes and emails than into code. That writing rarely gets the same tooling as the code does.
These are seven Mac apps that make the non-code half of the job faster.
1. DraftKey: AI autocomplete and rewrites in every app
$4.99 lifetime: getdraftkey.com
DraftKey brings Copilot-style Tab completion to the text fields you already write in: Slack, Mail, GitHub's PR box, Notes. Start a sentence, press Tab, and it finishes it, word by word if you only want part of the suggestion. Select a paragraph and you can fix the writing, make it shorter or clearer, change the tone, or type your own instruction. The model runs on your Mac, so your messages aren't sent to a cloud service.
The honest requirements: it needs an Apple Silicon Mac on macOS 14 or later, the AI features need 8 GB of memory and a separate model download of about 1.1 GB, and there's no free trial. One license covers up to three Macs.
Disclosure: I built DraftKey.
2. Raycast: snippets and clipboard history
Free (Pro is paid): raycast.com
Half of developer writing is the same few messages over and over: "Deployed to staging, please test", the PR template, the incident checklist. Raycast's snippets expand these from a short keyword, and its clipboard history means you can paste the link you copied three copies ago without hunting for it.
3. Espanso: a scriptable text expander
Free and open source: espanso.org
If you want your snippets in a config file you can version-control, Espanso is the developer's text expander. Triggers are defined in YAML and can insert dates, shell command output or form fields, so :standup can turn into a filled-in template with today's date.
4. CleanShot X: show it instead of describing it
Paid, one-time purchase or Setapp: cleanshot.com
The fastest message is often a screenshot with an arrow on it. CleanShot X captures, annotates, blurs secrets and records short videos or GIFs, then gives you a share link. One annotated screenshot can replace three paragraphs explaining where a bug shows up.
5. Obsidian: drafts, meeting notes and running logs
Free for personal use: obsidian.md
Long-form writing like design docs, postmortems and brag documents needs a home that isn't a Slack draft. Obsidian stores everything as local Markdown files, links notes together, and has a daily-notes feature that works well as a running work log. That log makes writing your weekly update a matter of copying and pasting.
6. iA Writer: focused writing for RFCs and docs
Paid, one-time purchase: ia.net/writer
When a document needs real thought, like an RFC or an architecture proposal, a distraction-free editor helps. iA Writer's focus mode and syntax highlighting (which flags filler words and weak verbs) are useful for tightening technical prose, and it writes plain Markdown that pastes cleanly into GitHub or Confluence.
7. Mimestream: a native Gmail client
Subscription after a free trial: mimestream.com
If your team runs on Google Workspace, Mimestream is a fast native Mac client for Gmail with proper keyboard shortcuts, multiple accounts and Gmail labels and filters. Email that loads instantly and works from the keyboard is one less reason to put off replying to it.
The point
Developers spend years optimizing their editor and almost no time on the tools they use for Slack, PRs and email. Snippets (Raycast, Espanso) handle the repetitive messages, CleanShot X replaces explanations with screenshots, Obsidian and iA Writer handle long-form writing, and DraftKey speeds up the rest wherever you type.
