Samsung Electronics 在 Seoul Design Week 展出 OLED 藝術作品

Samsung Electronics will hold a design exhibition in collaboration with Italian artists at Seoul Design Week 2026, showcasing 14 artworks inspired by its products on organic light-emitting diode (OLED) TVs.

Samsung said on Oct. 15 that it will present an exhibition titled “Design is an Act of Love” at Seoul Design Week 2026, held at Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP). The exhibition will run through Oct. 25.

Fourteen teams of emerging Italian artists created artworks inspired by the forms and features of Samsung products, incorporating their own experiences and imagination. The works reinterpret 14 products, including Music Studio 5, Bespoke AI Family Hub and Galaxy Z Fold8. The artists also used artificial intelligence (AI) in developing and expressing their ideas.

Samsung is displaying the 14 artworks on 14 S95H OLED TVs, each fitted with a custom frame designed to complement the colors and atmosphere of the artwork. The S95H features a Float Layer design that makes the screen appear to hover in front of the wall.

Samsung previously held an exhibition based on the same concept with Korean artists at Design Miami Seoul 2026 in September. The company is continuing the exhibition series through its collaboration with Italian artists.

Mauro Porcini, president and chief design officer (CDO) of Samsung’s Device eXperience (DX) division, said familiar products are transformed into expressions of individuality and perspective when viewed through the eyes of different creators. “Our goal is to design technology that fully embraces people,” he said.

Porcini will deliver a lecture titled “Italian Design vs. K-Design” at the Seoul Design Week conference on Oct. 18.
