KB Securities加入SK Telecom「AI for Everyone」計劃，開發金融AI服務

KB Securities is joining SK Telecom's "AI for Everyone" consortium. The two companies will explore integrating financial artificial intelligence (AI) technology with an AI platform to provide personalized wealth management services.

KB Securities said Oct. 28 that it signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with SK Telecom on Oct. 22.

"AI for Everyone" is a government initiative aimed at making AI easily accessible to the general public. The SK Telecom-led consortium is developing an AI assistant service that allows users to obtain everyday information and access various services through conversation.

Under the agreement, KB Securities will discuss taking responsibility for designing, enhancing and validating the quality of financial AI functions. SK Telecom plans to focus its collaboration on AI platform integration and expanding user access.

The companies will prioritize financial consumer protection and personalized wealth management support. Their goal is to explain complex financial information in an easily understandable way and help users assess their financial assets. They will also explore ways to improve access to financial information for older adults and people with limited financial knowledge.

KB Securities has used generative AI to analyze financial products and investment information and review financial product sales processes. It also operates its own financial AI agent service, Kkaebi AI. Through the partnership, KB Securities plans to integrate its accumulated financial AI capabilities with SK Telecom's platform.

"Through the design and quality validation of financial AI functions, we will provide accurate, easy-to-understand financial information and support customers in making informed decisions," said Park Jae-man, head of the AI and Digital Division at KB Securities.
