NoNoise AI now has a model selector, with new models tuned for wildlife, portraits, astrophotography and scanned film. ON1 said Tack Sharp AI also does a better job recovering soft or slightly out-of-focus photographs.

Enhanced masking applies consistently across layers, Effects filters and local adjustments, with a mask preview on hover. The updated Perfect Eraser is included in every edition. Generative Erase and Crop use ON1’s optional cloud rendering and are available to MAX license owners and subscribers.

Editions, Pricing and Mobile Timing

ON1 lists the standard edition as a $99.99 one-time purchase with installation on two computers. The MAX one-time license is listed at $149.99, marked down from $169.99, with installation on three computers. Restore AI and plugin support for Photoshop and Lightroom are also MAX features, and both perpetual licenses include free updates for version 2027.

MAX and ON1 Photo Studio subscriptions remain alternatives, and ON1 said it is not moving to a subscription-only model. New customers can use a 30-day free trial. For most Photo RAW 2026 owners, version 2027 is a paid upgrade, with pricing shown after they sign in.

ON1 said the Photo RAW 2027 mobile app will follow the desktop release in a few weeks. It did not set an exact date because the timing depends on Apple’s app approval.
