Maestro Forensic has unveiled an artificial intelligence (AI)-powered tool for digital evidence analysis and investigative report generation. Investigators can use natural-language requests to search for and analyze relevant evidence and generate reports with supporting documentation.

Maestro Forensic said on Oct. 26 that it had launched the MAESTRO WiSDOM AI Agent. "We are conducting product demonstration tests with law firms, investigative agencies and large corporations," a company official said.

Digital forensics involves analyzing records left on computers, storage devices and other systems to determine the circumstances and causes of incidents. The process requires investigators' time and expertise because of the variety of data involved and the need to identify relationships among records.

The MAESTRO WiSDOM AI Agent recognizes natural-language instructions. When users describe an investigation's objectives, the tool searches for and analyzes relevant records. For example, when asked to investigate a particular person's activities, it organizes records chronologically and identifies relevant evidence, including Microsoft Edge browsing history, shortcut files (LNK) and file modification records ($UsnJrnl).

The tool can also integrate with Claude Desktop and Codex through the Model Context Protocol (MCP), a standard for connecting AI systems with external tools. Application programming interface (API) integration is also supported.

The AI agent can generate digital forensic reports using customers' existing document templates, including Microsoft Word, Hangul, PowerPoint and PDF formats.

"The tool supports natural-language analysis, integration with AI desktop applications, evidence searches, timeline analysis and report generation," said Kim Jong-kwang, CEO of Maestro Forensic. "We aim to reduce repetitive investigative tasks so analysts can focus on reviewing key evidence and analysis results."

Founded in 2017, Maestro Forensic specializes in digital forensics and incident response (IR). Its main products include MAESTRO WiSDOM, an integrated digital forensic analysis platform, and MAESTRO CTIP, an intelligent security intelligence platform.
