Doosan Enerbility 擢升 CFO Park Sang-hyun 為副董事長，任命 Song Yong-jin 為新任 COO

Doosan Enerbility has announced changes to its senior management.

The company said on Oct. 16 that it had promoted CEO and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Park Sang-hyun from president to vice chairman and appointed Song Yong-jin, president and head of the Strategy and Innovation Division, as its new Chief Operating Officer (COO).

Park began serving as vice president of the CFP Team in the holding company division of Doosan Corp. in 2008. He subsequently headed financial management at Doosan Infracore in 2013 and became executive vice president of Doosan Corp.'s holding company division in 2015. After serving as CEO of Doosan Bobcat in 2018, he was appointed president, CEO and CFO of Doosan Enerbility in 2022.

Song, the new COO, has an engineering background, holding bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees in metallurgical engineering from Seoul National University. He joined Doosan Enerbility in 2008 as head of its Strategy Team and subsequently held positions including head of the Power and Innovation Division and head of the Wind Power Business Group, overseeing business strategy and sales activities.

Doosan Enerbility plans to strengthen the competitiveness of its nuclear power, gas turbine and offshore wind businesses under Song's leadership. The company will also pursue manufacturing and business innovation using artificial intelligence (AI) and digital technologies.
