Google Nest Thermostat

It seems like the cost of everything is going up, which means trying to save is even more important, especially as we approach the holiday season. You can save on your electric bill by getting a smart thermostat like the Google Nest thermostat. This thermostat adjusts and adapts to temperatures around the house. It heats only when you need it most and then automatically turns it down when not needed to save power and therefore money on your energy bill. The Nest Sensor helps the thermostat pick the temperature. Plus, if you create a schedule through the Google Home app, you really won’t have to worry about the thermostat. CNET expert Jon Reed noted, “If all thermostats were free, the latest Nest would be hard to beat.” It’s not exactly free, but you can score a great discount right now.

Sony WH-1000XM6 headphones

The Sony WH-1000XM6 headphones are one of our favorite headphones of 2026, especially when we look at their noise-canceling features. The upgraded design combined with the more comfortable fit compared to the previous model really made a mark on us. There’s also better sound quality thanks to the new powerful QN3 chip. The extra mics help boost the voice-calling performance as well. With features such as spatial audio with head tracking, these headphones are over the top. Our expert reviewer David Carnoy says, “With their design tweaks, improved sound quality, noise canceling and stellar voice-calling performance, they’re pretty much the complete package when it comes to noise-canceling headphones.”

These headphones are not cheap at $460. But right now, you can grab them in any color at a record-low price of $378.

$169 (original price: $229)

Google Pixel Buds Pro 2

If you’re looking for wireless earbuds instead, the Pixel Buds Pro 2 remain one of the best values around. The Google Pixel Buds Pro 2 combine premium sound with Gemini AI features in a compact yet comfortable design that you can wear all day, every day. They are also great during workouts as the twist-to-adjust stabilizer helps keep each earbud in place. According to CNET headphone expert David Carnoy, “These buds deliver excellent sound, strong noise-muffling capabilities and a robust feature set, particularly for Android and Google Pixel phone users.”

The Pixel Buds Pro 2 are down to $169, a solid $60 discount that you can’t pass up.
