Artiso AI will use the money raised to develop an industry-focused AI operating system.

Fashion technology company Artiso AI has raised more than €3m in a pre-seed funding round led by Criteria Venture Tech, with participation from Swanlaab, Bynd Venture Capital, David Tomás and Ganni founder Nicolaj Reffstrup.

Artiso AI was established in Barcelona, Spain in 2025 by Sarah Iglesias Hiller, who is the CEO, Lucas Pastur Romay, the CPO and Matthias Brenninkmeijer, the CTO. The three colleagues are former Mango executives who have worked together since 2022.

The company is an AI-powered operating system developed for the fashion industry and aims to help professionals in the space better manage and combine workflows. The funds raised will go towards developing an AI-native operating system that can transform the process from beginning to end.

Artiso AI works with organisations across Europe, North America and Asia, citing the US as a key market. The company intends to utilise some of the money raised as a means of onboarding more consumers globally. There will also be a team expansion, with additional hiring across fashion and technology.

Commenting on the announcement, Matthias Brenninkmeijer, the co-founder and CTO of Artiso AI said, “Fashion imagery is where AI first proved its value and Artiso takes it further; every image, sketch and tech pack is created with an understanding of the brand behind it.

“Our agents combine state-of-the-art generation with each brand’s own knowledge, while people stay in control of every decision. That is what turns AI from a tool into a new way of working.”

Roma Jelinskaite, the managing director at Criteria Venture Tech added, “At Criteria Venture Tech we look for teams with the ambition to build global category leaders from Europe.

“Artiso has a rare combination; founders who have lived the problem first-hand, a product customers already use end to end and clear demand on both sides of the Atlantic. We are proud to lead this round and to support them for the long term.”
