Storyboard Workshop 如何將一句主題句轉成完整分鏡表

From One Sentence to a Full Shot List: A Tap-to-Build Storyboard Workflow

AI 導讀

Storyboard Workshop

Long videos rarely fail because a creator lacks an idea. They fail because one long prompt cannot hold a beginning, a middle, and an ending, let alone consistent camera work. The practical fix is to plan in shots first, then build each shot deliberately.

That is the workflow I use in Storyboard Workshop. Storyboard Workshop is a free independent tool, not affiliated with any AI video product.

Start with one sentence

Begin with a single-sentence theme, not a paragraph. For example: "A young traveller returns to a rainy old street at dusk." A short theme is easier to hold in mind, and it gives every later choice something to serve. If the theme cannot be said in one sentence, it is probably two videos.

Tap your way through the word tree

Next, build the look with the sliding word-tree cards. Only one category is shown at a time, so the screen stays focused. Swipe to switch categories, such as type, emotion, camera style, shot size, camera movement, composition, lighting, colour, atmosphere, scene, character, action, or visual element. Tap a word to add it. Words marked with an arrow can be expanded to reveal related words, which is useful when a first choice feels close but not quite right.

Do not try to select everything. A few strong choices — a rainy night scene, a slow push, warm light, and a quiet mood — will shape the whole storyboard more clearly than a long pile of unrelated terms.

Use search and quick picks when you know what you want

If you already have a word in mind, cross-category search lets you search across categories without flipping through every card. The quick-pick area is even faster for familiar choices: tap once and the word joins your selection. I use search for a specific detail and quick picks for the visual language I return to again and again.

Your selected words are saved locally in the browser's localStorage, so you can leave and come back without rebuilding the same selection from scratch.

Read the table before you generate anything

The result is a complete storyboard table. Every shot has visuals, camera movement, duration, prompt, narration, and transition. Read it in order before touching a video generator. Does the opening establish place? Does the middle change? Does the ending land? Fix the weak shot here, when changes are still cheap, rather than after you have generated video.

Generate clip by clip, then stitch

This is where patience matters. The homepage notes that a single AI generation is only about 5–15 seconds (Kling 3.0 max 15s per clip, Veo 3.1 8s per clip extendable, Seedance 2.5 30s per shot). That is why long videos must be shot-split, generated shot by shot, and stitched together.

Work in shot order, keep the prompt and narration for each shot beside you, and check continuity as you go. When one clip drifts, regenerate that shot instead of starting the whole video again. The stitch is the final step, not a rescue plan.

If you want a faster start, one-tap lazy mode can assemble a complete table from a theme or direction. For a project you care about, though, the tap-to-build route gives you more control over the choices that actually appear on screen.
