🚀 Introducing RepoMind AI: Building an AI-Powered Codebase Intelligence Platform

Modern software projects contain hundreds of files, functions, and dependencies. For beginners and open-source contributors, understanding an unfamiliar codebase can be challenging.

That's why I'm building RepoMind AI — an AI-powered project designed to make codebases easier to understand and explore.

💡 What is RepoMind AI?

RepoMind AI aims to help developers interact with their codebases using AI. Instead of manually searching through multiple files, developers can ask questions and get AI-generated explanations.

✨ Current Features

AI-Powered Q&A: Ask questions through a simple web interface and receive AI-generated answers.
Python File Scanning: Scan a project to identify Python files.
Frontend–Backend Integration: Connect a web interface with a Python FastAPI backend.
Local AI Integration: Use the Gemma model through Ollama to generate responses.
Open-Source Development: Manage and share the project using Git and GitHub.

These are planned improvements that I aim to develop as the project evolves.

🌱 My Learning Journey

As a first-year B.Tech student, this project is helping me explore AI integration, API development, frontend–backend communication, and open-source software development.
