MAI Image 2.7, our latest image editing model, launches with even stronger control for edits that are hardest to get right. It launches in preview at No. 3 on Arena Edit, making Microsoft AI the No. 2 lab, and No. 2 on Artificial Analysis’s image editing leaderboard.
Restyle or relight an entire scene, change text and symbols while keeping them integrated into the image, or restore and enhance existing assets. And make edits that require understanding how objects, lighting, and environments should work together.

Its strongest lead is in scene and style, where it scores 24 Elo ahead of the next-best model.
