AI 影片提示詞工程:哪些方法真正有效

Prompt Engineering for AI Video: What Actually Works

Prompt Engineering for AI Video: What Actually Works

If you've used an LLM, you know the drill: vague prompt in, vague answer out. Text-to-video models punish vagueness even harder, because every ambiguous word becomes a visual artifact you didn't ask for. After building and testing AI video generation at Text2Vid, here's the prompt structure that consistently produces usable clips.

The three-sentence formula

Every good video prompt answers three questions, in this order:

  1. What is in the frame? (subject, setting, key objects)
  2. How does the camera move? (static, dolly in, orbit, pan)
  3. What does the light feel like? (golden hour, neon night, soft studio)

Example of a prompt that works:

"A street food vendor flipping noodles at a night market, steam rising. Slow dolly-in from medium to close-up. Warm tungsten glow, shallow depth of field, background bokeh."

Example of a prompt that fails:

"Amazing cinematic video of delicious Asian food, ultra high quality, 8k, masterpiece"

The second one is stuffed with quality adjectives the model can't interpret. "Cinematic" means nothing to a diffusion model; "slow dolly-in, warm tungsten glow" means everything.

One motion per clip

This is the mistake almost everyone makes first. A 5-second clip cannot contain a pan, a zoom, and a subject walking toward camera. Pick one motion. If you need coverage, generate three clips with three different single motions and cut between them. Your edit will look more professional, not less.

Negative prompts are underrated

Most generators accept negative prompts — things to exclude. Ours are almost always the same list: "text overlays, watermarks, extra fingers, morphing faces, flickering." Five seconds of prevention saves a lot of regeneration.

Duration honesty

Text-to-video models hold coherence for about 4–8 seconds. Asking for 30 seconds in one generation gives you a clip that starts strong and melts into soup by second 15. Generate short, chain in an editor. This isn't a limitation of one tool; it's the state of the technology in 2026.

Image-to-video: the cheat code

If you have a good still image, start there instead of from text. Image-to-video (upload a photo, describe only the motion) is dramatically more controllable than text-to-video, because composition, lighting, and subject are already locked. A product photo plus "slow 360 rotation, soft studio sweep" beats a text-only product prompt almost every time. We built Text2Vid around this insight: one photo in, one motion description, one short clip out — free to try in the browser.

A testing workflow

  1. Write the three-sentence prompt.
  2. Generate at the shortest duration first.
  3. If the first 3 seconds look right, extend; if not, change one variable (usually the camera move) and regenerate.
  4. Keep a prompt log. The prompts that worked last month still work — models change, but composition principles don't.

The tooling will keep improving, but the skill that transfers across every model is the same one photographers have always had: knowing exactly what you want the frame to look like before you press the button.
