付費增加影片版本前,先決定影片主視覺要做到甚麼

Decide What a Video Hero Must Do Before Paying for More Versions

Suppose you are building a landing page for a fictional maker community. The page needs to explain the project and make the next action clear. A short Seedance Mini background concept might help establish an atmosphere, but it should have a specific role in the page rather than becoming the entire message.

The proposed deliverable is one ten-second landscape clip, a static fallback image, and readable page copy. This is a design exercise, not a report of a site we built or a video we generated.

Give motion a small, testable purpose

For this example, the motion brief is “a quiet workbench becoming active.” The heading and button remain part of the page, not baked into the generated footage. The visual should support the idea of making things without being needed to understand the invitation.

Write down what the first review will decide: whether the motion distracts from the heading, whether the composition leaves enough space for text, and whether the fallback communicates the same basic idea. These are review questions, not performance measurements.

If a static image already does the job, it is a valid design choice. The availability of a low generation estimate is not a reason to add video that the page does not need.

Reserve a generation allowance, not a finished-feature price

As a neutral reference, the October 26 public quote for OpenRouter's named Seed route for Seedance 2.0 Mini was $3.50 per million video tokens. For one hypothetical ten-second 1280×720 clip at an assumed 24 fps with no reference assets, 216,000 assumed output tokens give a $0.7560 estimate, if that quantity is billed. Generated-audio contribution, final usage, minimums, rounding, and settlement were not tested. It is not a fixed per-clip offer.

That allowance covers one hypothetical generation attempt. It does not cover making a fallback, editing, encoding, testing the page, hosting, or generating additional candidates. A comparison between “video” and “static” should include those production tasks, not just the model quote.

Plan the crop before adding variants

The estimate describes landscape output. A narrow layout may need a different crop or a separate asset. First decide which part of the image must remain visible and where the heading will sit. Review that composition at the intended layouts before assuming the same file works everywhere.

Keep a separate decision for reduced or disabled motion in your design. The fallback should be a deliberate version of the page, not an empty rectangle that appears when video is unavailable. This article does not prescribe browser behavior or claim that an implementation has passed accessibility testing.

Make the second attempt earn its place

After reviewing the first candidate, name the problem before requesting another. “Too much movement behind the heading” is actionable. “Make it better” leaves the next review without a clear comparison.

The useful output of this exercise is a motion brief, a fallback plan, and a bounded allowance. A new candidate is justified by a design decision, not by the fact that the quoted generation cost looks small.

The quote and estimation basis are documented on the OpenRouter Mini model page. The underlying catalog observation was October 26 at 03:09:44 UTC and the named-route observation at 03:09:50 UTC; no generation or settled invoice was observed.
