分析 720 多支 AI 與新創產品發布影片,整理四拍分鏡與聲音規格

We Analyzed 720+ AI & Startup Launch Videos (OpenAI, Linear, Cursor, Raycast) — Here Is the 4-Beat Storyboard & Audio Spec

When companies like Linear, Cursor, Raycast, Runway, Figma, and OpenAI drop a 45-second product launch video on X, it regularly racks up 500K–3M+ views in 24 hours.

Yet when most engineers and founders sit down to record a product launch video, they either record a slow 3-minute Loom walkthrough or spend weeks guessing at motion pacing, sound design, and hook timing.

Over the last few months, I archived and decoded 720+ verified startup and AI launch videos from 110+ companies to see what actually separates a high-velocity launch film from one that gets scrolled past in 1.5 seconds.

To make the dataset browsable for builders, motion designers, and design engineers, I built ShipScenes — a tactile launch film teardown deck and Interactive AI & Tech Evolution Timeline.

Key Finding #1: The 4-Beat Time-Coded Storyboard

Across the top-performing 50 launch videos on our Live Top 50 Leaderboard, 84% follow a remarkably tight 4-Beat structure under 60 seconds:

Beat Timecode Window Purpose Visual & Audio Signature
01 · The 0s Hook 00:00 – 00:04 Stop the scroll before the viewer unmutes 0s UI Cold Open or Kinetic Typography synced to a -12 dBFS sub-bass transient or mechanical key-click
02 · Problem Friction 00:04 – 00:12 Show the old painful workflow in 2–3 rapid cuts High-contrast dark UI or terminal clutter, rising synth tension
03 · Solution Kinetic UI 00:12 – 00:34 Demonstrate the core product loop at 2x–3x real-time speed Tight 3D orthographic camera pans, spring physics (stiffness: 220, damping: 24), 2fps visual state changes
04 · CTA Lockup 00:34 – 00:45 Single memorable tagline + URL Clean brand lockup + audio decay tail

Key Finding #2: Sound Design & EBU R128 Loudness Telemetry

Even though many viewers start watching on mute, the videos that get shared most heavily treat sound design as 50% of the product feel:

  • Integrated Loudness: Top tech launch films master between -13.8 LUFS and -11.9 LUFS (hotter than broadcast TV so laptop and phone speakers punch through).
  • Pacing Tempo: The median edit tempo across AI and DevTools launches in 2025–2026 is 122 BPM to 128 BPM, cutting on every 2nd or 4th bar.
  • Transient Cues: Instead of generic stock ukulele music, top studios layer tactile foley (Cherry MX key switches, tape transport clicks, sub-bass drops, and crisp UI whooshes) aligned to cursor clicks and modal transitions.

Key Finding #3: Tracking How AI & Tech Launch Films Evolved (/timeline)

One of the coolest parts of having 720+ launch videos indexed by exact launch timestamp is seeing how companies evolve over time.

On shipscenes.com/timeline, we built two interactive instruments:

  1. NLE Multi-Track Release Matrix: Scrub across months and eras, or click [S] to solo any company track (e.g., OpenAI, Cursor, Runway, ElevenLabs) to see their release cadence.
  2. Seismograph Vector Oscilloscope + "Then vs. Now" Diff: Compare a company's earliest tracked launch video side-by-side against their latest release, or step through every ship in chronological order.

Copyable 60fps Remotion Specs

If you are building your own launch video programmatically in React using Remotion, every teardown on ShipScenes includes a ready-to-copy 60fps Remotion <Series> composition with spring configs and frame timings pre-calculated from that video's 4-beat storyboard.
